Before your child’s evaluation, our team verifies your benefits and walks you through your deductible, copay, coinsurance, and any exclusions, so there are no surprises.

Getting started
How do I know if my child needs therapy?
Trust your instincts. If your child isn’t meeting milestones, or something feels hard for them, it’s worth checking. Review our milestones, request a free developmental screening, or call us to talk through your concerns.
Do I need a referral?
Yes. A physician’s referral is required before an evaluation. Your child’s physician can fax it to (318) 550-4058.
What ages do you see?
We work with babies, toddlers, and school-age children, including older kids who need support with speech, language, reading, feeding, or motor skills.
What services do you offer?
We offer speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, feeding therapy, and literacy and reading intervention, plus screenings, consultations, and caregiver education.
Insurance & billing
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most commercial and Medicaid plans. See the plans listed above, or call (318) 775-4164 and we’ll check for you.
Will I know what I owe before the evaluation?
Yes. Before your first visit, our team verifies your benefits and reviews your deductible, copay, coinsurance, and exclusions with you, so we can make a financial plan together if needed.
Do you offer self-pay?
Yes, self-pay is available. Contact our office for details.
Evaluations
What happens during an evaluation?
We complete evaluations over two visits, so your child has time to get comfortable and we get a true picture of their skills. Your therapist will:
- Complete standardized testing to compare skills with same-age peers
- Use informal testing and observation
- Review your intake paperwork and discuss your concerns
- Share results, recommendations, and next steps
What should I bring?
Bring your completed intake paperwork, your insurance card, and any relevant records, like medical records, school reports, an IEP, or reports from other professionals. Your questions and concerns are important too!
Where can I find the intake forms?
Your intake coordinator will send them to you after your child is scheduled.
